Recomly lets small service businesses (plumbers, HVAC techs, lawn care providers, personal trainers, and more) launch and manage word-of-mouth referral programs without any technical setup. Advocates share a unique link; when someone books through it and pays, rewards go out automatically.
Core concepts
Campaigns are the containers for your referral programs. Each campaign defines the advocate reward, the friend reward, an optional expiry date, and the status (active, paused, or deleted). You can run multiple campaigns at the same time — for example, one per service line or season.
Advocates are your existing customers who agree to refer their friends and family. Each advocate gets a unique referral link tied to the campaign. When a referral converts, the advocate earns the reward you defined.
Friends are the new customers who follow an advocate's referral link. They land on a branded referral page and, once they book and pay, receive the friend reward you configured.
Referrals are the individual tracking records created when a friend submits through an advocate's link. Each referral moves from pending to converted (or expired). Converting a referral triggers rewards for both the advocate and the friend.
