Referral Message Templates

Ready-to-use message templates your advocates can copy and send to friends, family, and colleagues.

The best referrals happen in private conversations - a text, a DM, an email to a colleague. Give your advocates a starting point so they don't have to figure out what to say.

These templates are written to feel personal and helpful, not salesy. Advocates should swap in their own details and send in whatever channel feels natural.

Tips for advocates

  • Personalize it. The closer the message is to your own voice, the more likely your friend is to act on it. Change the wording to sound like you.
  • Be specific. Mention the actual service, a real job you had done, or a specific problem your friend mentioned. Generic messages get ignored.
  • Don't mass blast. A personal message to one person who actually needs the service will outperform a post to 200 people who don't.
  • Your link is unique to you. Every referral submitted through it is credited to your account. Don't share it publicly in a way that could attract spam submissions.

You can always find your referral link and check your referral history in your advocate portal.
