For Friends

Someone shared a referral link with you. Here is what happens next and what to expect.

If someone you know shared a link to a business they trust, and you submitted your contact information on that page, this guide explains what happens next.

What you just did

By submitting your information through a referral link, you let the business know you are interested in their services, and you credited your friend for the introduction. That is the whole process on your end — you do not need to do anything else for the referral to be recorded.

What happens next

The business will reach out to you directly to schedule an appointment, discuss your job, or answer any questions. Response times and how they contact you depend on the business.

Your reward

Every referral program on Recomly includes a reward for you as the new customer — you would have seen it on the page when you submitted your information. The business will apply it when your job is completed or your booking is confirmed.

If you are unsure how your reward will be issued, contact the business directly.

Common questions

Do I need to create an account? No. You submitted your information through the referral page — there is nothing else to set up.

What if I never hear from the business? Contact them directly. The referral was recorded on our end, but follow-up is handled by the business.

Who is Recomly? Recomly is the platform the business uses to run their referral program. We handle the technology — the referral link, the submission form, and the notifications. The business itself manages the program, the rewards, and the relationship with you.
