This is the Recomly blog. It's where we'll pull back the curtain on what we're building, why we're building it, and what we're learning along the way. Whether you're a plumber, personal trainer, lawn care pro, or any other service business owner, we think you'll find something useful here.

Why we built Recomly

Word-of-mouth has always been the most powerful way small service businesses grow. When a happy customer tells their neighbor, "You have to call this guy — he fixed our HVAC in two hours and charged a fair price," that's worth more than any ad you could ever run.

The problem is that word-of-mouth is hard to track. It's hard to reward. And without a system, it's entirely up to chance — you're hoping your best customers happen to bring up your name at the right moment.

Recomly turns that hope into a process.

We give you a simple, clean referral program you can actually explain to a customer in thirty seconds: "If you refer a friend who books with us, we'll send you a thank-you." No complicated apps. No confusing point systems. Just a straightforward way to say thank you for spreading the word.

What to expect here
